Providing a Quote in Ticked Off

Purpose
This guide shows you how to review a quote request, prepare your quote, and submit it through Ticked Off.

  1. Open the quote request
    • Log in to Ticked Off.
    • Go to the Requests page.
    • Filter by Quote Requests if needed.
    • Open the request with the Quote Required status.

  2. Review the request details
    • Read the description and any notes.
    • Review the photos or documents.
    • Check the location details.
    • Confirm the scope is clear.
    If anything is unclear, contact the Ticked Off team through the request comments.

  3. Prepare your quote
    • Confirm all labour, materials, travel, call out, and any other costs.
    • List each cost item clearly.
    • Review your numbers before uploading.

  4. Upload your quote
    • Scroll to the Quote section of the request.
    • Click Add Quote or Upload Quote.
    • Attach your quote file. PDF format is preferred.
    • Enter the total cost in the required field.
    • Make sure the amount entered matches your attached document.

  5. Provide any supporting notes
    • Add a comment explaining anything important.
    Examples:
    – Variations or options
    – Lead times
    – Special access requirements
    – Warranty details

  6. Submit the quote
    • Click Submit or Save.
    • The request will move to the next status.
    • The client will review your quote and approve or decline it.

  7. Wait for approval
    • Do not attend site until you receive approval.
    • You will be notified in Ticked Off and by email when a decision is made.
    • If the quote is approved, the request will update to Accepted and you can schedule attendance.

  8. After approval
    • Attend the site as per normal Ticked Off processes.
    • Sign in using the QR code on arrival.
    • Complete the Supplier Review after the job.
    • Upload your invoice once the work is complete.

  9. Common mistakes to avoid
    • Uploading a quote with missing totals.
    • Entering a different amount to the PDF.
    • Providing a quote without viewing supporting photos.
    • Attending before approval.
    • Not reviewing lead times before submission.

  10. Need help?
    • Add a comment in the request for support.
    • Contact the Ticked Off team if the system blocks your upload or you need guidance.
